PH-002 Green-winged Phoenix

This original design is hand-painted on 18 mesh mono canvas with acrylic paint. The painted part of the canvas measures 12″ x 14″.

The design was inspired by the legend of the phoenix. All phoenixes symbolize death and rebirth, with their life-cycle of bursting into flames at death and resurrecting themselves through the ashes and flames. This depiction shows a phoenix with green wings, aqua feathers, and fluorescent pink and purple scales on its breast as it rises out of the flames that have brought it back to life.
